Are you getting in enough water? Try half your body weight in oz and more importantly, don’t agonize over it. Once I woke up and had gained 15 lbs in a week 🤦🏾♀️ (water weight, but still...it was shocking). You also may consider switching up your diet/exercise. Your body eventually adjusts to the same foods/moves and is always striving to look for ways to be efficient...which leads to plateau and in some cases “storing”, hence the slight gain. Don’t be afraid to switch it up, even if your calorie intake is consistent. Overall, be encouraged, you’ll get there ☺️

I just bought a brand new scale arriving via amazon tomorrow. Giving all measurements via smartphone.

Don’t get discouraged now. You just started. You might consider doing a little homework with the subject being the factors tha influence weight loss. There are many. Some that are not directly under your control. Stay the course and reassess your situation in another week or so.

My weight fluctuates as much as 4 pounds in a single day - don't give up! =)

I read you should average your weight each week. Instead of just seeing the fluctuations you’ll see the weekly average which should still be going down . 😽

It's okay. Eat less today and you'll see a lot of change. After all, we all need to gain weight some time in while, right? Just don't and never give up. Know that you have my support.

It can absolutely be the scale though. Bought a new one last year and it was all over the place. Comparing against my trusty old one, as much as 3 lbs wrong sometimes!

I know how you feel, but don't give up. If you know you are doing things right, it is just water and you are losing or building muscle. Its bad enough not to see a drop in couple of days let alone a week. I guess I am impatient. My scale once noted a 2 ounce drop from one day to the next , so I guess I started to expect that. It ain't happening!

Measure yourself, circumstances of arms, waist, etc., weight is not reliable (muscle, water, Menstruation, etc.)

Most people's weight fluctuates 2-3 pounds everyday. My doc gave me some good advice a few years ago to average over a week and don't stress over daily changes.. That's one reason i have a scale that doesn't do ounces!!

Hang in there. How does your body feel? I'm trying to listen to mine rather than focus on the scale.

Oh my gosh! You sound exactly like me the past month!!! It is absolutely normal!!! As I've learned. You really are making changes that the scale does show. Doesn't sound like you'll give up. I know venting helps!!! Patience is key!!! Losing weight is not for sissies!!! 🤣
