Raych's Journal, 07 Jan 09

Today started out easy, but towards afternoon I got that dreaded headache. Tiredness has set in. Unfortunately no exercise today. Went to the store and wanted to grab any junk food I could find. But I am proud to say, I bought the foods I can eat. Had a great salad for dinner, and feel a bit better. Drank all the water I needed. Doing awesome! I hope I stay on this path. Haven't given in yet! Few more days, and it should be easier!

I can relate with the headaches I had a wicked migraine tonight an hour and a half ago - at least you didn't cheat on the diet! Neither did I.. What do you take for the headaches? I can't get a hold of what works for me... now I'll watch those soaps - I know what is going on five shows I watch little else...

It does get easier!! This first week is the worst. By the end of the week you may not even be hungry!!! That's the amazing part about Atkins!

I agree with Paige... it gets a lot easier the longer you go. My first two-three days were killer getting back on track but this is my 8th day and I'm feeling pretty much strong and healthier!! The longer you go.. the more and more you will surprise yourself about how you feel and the choices you make!! Keep focused, you're getting there!!! =)

Just take Tylenol. Really wanted to take Excedrin Migraine because that's where it was headed but it contains caffeine. I made it through. Woke up around 500am with a pounding headache, but got it under control. And am I excited! I told myself I wouldn't weigh in until a week, but couldn't resist, and I've lost 2 lbs!!! Thanks for all the support!

Thanks Raych... I have Tylenol. Thankfully I'm physically healthy except for migraines and arthritis. I'm not hungry at all - ate light yesterday too...

Maybe try a chiropractor..I just got back from going, my tailbone has been giving me major problems. Don't want it getting in the way of exercising. I soon as I left, I felt better. My headache is even gone! Yeah!
