Congratulations on the weight loss and the walk. I've never heard of a pinched nerve in the heel but it sounds incredibly painful.

That is excellent! You can do this! Personally, I started my diet at 294 lbs in June of 2019 and have been doing a protein-sparing fast - just 3 protein shakes a day. Everyone is different in what diets work for them, of course. I did find that my rate of loss was higher than what you are describing - particularly when I had as much to lose. Oh - and it was't at all tied to any exercise helping.

Congratulations!! If like me your body will be able to heal painful areas with weight loss. Your legs and feet will have much less stress on them.

I had thyroid problems and couldn’t walk for one month, it was scary and I felt that everybody walking doesn’t realize how lucky they are just to be walking. I need to be walking more for I’m walking weird now, kind of like an old lady. I want to get back to regular normal walking which I appreciate the Lord has given me the chance. Stairs or even porch steps are something I’m going to conquer, for now I’m way too slow!
Just do what you did again and again and soon it will get easier and easier!!! You will be so happy!
I’m walking better and better.
Go girl!!!😊

Thanks everyone!! I'm sure weight loss will help a whole lots thing! And I also have hypothyroidism, which is most likely the reason for the slow loss. I'm not on my meds and havent been for quite some time due to insurance issues. Once I'm able to get back on them I'm sure it will be much smoother of a journey.❤

OMG. I am concerned about your not having your thyroid med. Have you looked at goodrx.com? It says it is $4, don't know for how many. I would not be afraid to order from Canada either. I hope you are able to get it soon. I hear your pain as I had plantar fasciitis in right foot for a long time, it got to where I couldn't set my foot down. I admire your positive attitude during this terrible time for you. Good job!
