I'm in one of those moods where I am ready to just give up on this all together. I can be a size 14 and 200 lbs... I can learn to live with it. I'm just not getting anywhere anymore and the frustration is getting to be a little too much. I went a tiny bit overboard Friday... although I only had 1 slice of pizza, I had 2 bottles of wine over the course of the evening. Saturday I hardly ate because I was cooking all day. But we went out for karaoke, so I had a few drinks (no carbs tho). My new mission is to increase my daily intake for 2 weeks and then drop it again. Maybe that will jump start me again. Atleast I haven't really gained yet. Ok, 3 lbs.... but it's not weigh in day, so it doesn't count yet. Maybe if I have a good poop tonight I'll be ok... LMAO!!!!!

Barbie, I don't know what to say to help you over this hump. You lost 6 pounds between the 25th of October and the 12th of November. That's an average of 2 pounds a week. I've lost 4 pounds since the beginning of August! OY!! The problem with stopping is that the carbs will creep up and so will the weight, and there is a good possibility that soon you'll be back where you started. Hang in there......we all hit slow downs, how we handle them determines our long term success! And I know you can do this!

Hang on Barbie, it will get better! Like Stef said, everyone hits a slow down and trust me I know how frustrating it can be. Do not stress too much over it and let it be what it is and just keep doing what you are doing. I was told by 2 different Drs that your body has a memory and when you hit a weight you were at for a long period of time your body will just stay there for a while, like a reset point almost and once it is done being comfortable and realizes that you are still plugging away it starts to let go again.
