jen.m.gool's Journal, 13 Aug 20

I have fallen behind and am starting to dig myself in a whole. I haven’t changed what I’ve been eating but I forgot to journal yesterday. I’ll give myself a break for Monday because I was sick and drained from spending Sunday night at the hospital. And boy am I a pro at shaming myself. I’m picking it back up today. I refuse to give up. I don’t mean to be a Debbie downer; I just wanted to share my mindset. It helps me move on when I don’t push things down, keep them inside.

One day at a time! Took me a year to loose 15, it’s a lifetime journey. Everyday we start new cause I. The end staying healthy and making better choices is all that truly matters.

Thanks Jorie! Thanks Arkie❤️ I love this community. It is a big part of why eating healthy this time isn’t another temporary “health kick” lol.

You got this Jen! We all have ups and downs on this journey...the trick is to get back on track when we slip. We own it when we mess up and use it as motivation to do better. Things usually go askew when we or loved ones are ill. Especially in these crazy times. Just stay honest with yourself, own your mistakes AND your successes, no matter how small they may seem, and remember that we are all here for you. Have a great day and enjoy the upcoming weekend! 😉

Journaling is a great way to relieve stress and release negativity. It is your journal. Journal what you want. Most if us have had a lot of ups and downs on our journey. We live and learn. Onward!

I agree with KA Grimm you identified areas where you may have slipped and remain positive. Celebrate your successes no matter the size or scope!
