Been really bad at entering my food... but I really am eating healthier again - odd treat now and then that's about it.

Found out the reason for my fatigue - I'm anemic. Joy. I've been on iron for 4 days now and I feel WAAAY better. My memory is working, I'm coming out of a depression funk, My mood swings have evened out and Im getting energy back. Thank goodness.

Still blood in urine, not sure what is wrong and kidneys still hurt. Doc put me on some heavy duty antibiotics for kidney infection - and I have my ultrasound tomorrow to find out what's up. In the meantime, upping my water intake again.

On the good side, bf got me set up for a photo shoot this friday :) There is a Plus size model search on, and I'm creating a portfolio to submit some pics. Kind of excited about this :)

Tamaralynn, I'm anemic too! It used to suck until I my doctor prescribed iron for me. She also told me to get B12 (*sublingual*...it absorbs faster) over the counter and to drink some sort of juice with acid to help with the iron and b12 I think (I told her I would eat navel oranges instead lol). Also! Get your vitamin D levels checked bc my doctor checked mine and she found they were super low. I knew something was wrong bc I was actually contemplating drinking coffee since I was so fatigued all the time (my whole life ive never been a coffee drinker...it's like drinking liquid speed for my body-i dnt like that feeling lol). Anywho, I hope you feel better soon and best of luck on your photo shoot! What a great bf you have!! :D

Yeah my Vitamin D levels are low (I'm already on 3000IUs if D3)- For some reason I'm having issues absorbing... not sure why. I'm lactose intolerant so I'm also taking Calcium supplements as well. My B levels seemed to be good (she asked for B levels specifically as it's not an option on the requsition form). Went for ultrasound this morning on my liver/kidneys and where my gallbladder used to be - and was told my doctor will contact me in 2 days. So I might have stones... which is probably what's causing the bleeding... and might have something to do with why my body isn't absorbing the Vitamin d? Who knows. WIll find out from doc - not going to guess and get myself all worked up :) On good side have my make up artist booked, stylist booked - now I just need to find some accessories to go with my outfit. I came across a fabulous indian garment (no idea what it is, It's not a Sari) at the thrift shop the other day, and will go great with my golden sandals. My indian friend is lending me some of her jewelry from india to wear with it for the photo shoot. I'm getting more and more excited for this :)

You're right. Do not work yourself up. I definitely feel your pain on the vit D. My doc suggested I take 5000 iu's but after a while I just felt my body needed more...so I take 15k iu's lol! I love my doctor but I listen to my body very closely too. You are doing all the right things getting tests run to help pinpoint the issues. Anytime there's bleeding involved you definitely want the good doctor on speed dial. I'm sure you're in great hands to receive great care. On a lighter note, I LOVE gold everything! I have 2 pair of gold sandals...they make me feel like an Egyptian Queen or something lol! Can't go wrong with gold (in my opinion). Have fun!! :D
