The sky is not falling today - so far. It's been a pretty lazy uneventful day. DW made me bacon, eggs over easy and toast. It's not exactly a low cal breakfast, but I know what happens to my eating plan if I deprive myself of everything I enjoy. I don't eat much of a breakfast during the week, before I go to work, so I look forward to my weekend breakfasts. I sat with DW at the table for a while and watched "The Negotiator" with Samuel Jackson. It's an older movie, kind of action packed like "Die Hard." Just entertaining without having to think. Then I went down and did the last workout of Stage 3 on the treadmill. Next workout is running 7 min @ 5 mph; walking 3 min @ 3 mph (Repeat 3X). Can't hardly wait. :( It's about 10 degrees cooler today and it makes a big difference.
Here's one of the colors of the cabinets; the drawer front and door frame will be a little darker.

If you are supposed to learn from your mistakes, why do some people have more than one child.

Thanks, Heather! They say necessity is the mother of invention. I just learn as I go. They also say when you stop learning, you start looking at the ground from the wrong side, so I think I'll keep on experimenting.

You never know, Erika. I had no interest in doing these things either when I was your age. DIY just seemed to happen over time - either through necessity or influence from my friends or both.
