Trying so hard to behave! Made some baked oatmeal this morning (with applesauce instead of oil!) and it was delish! So good that I had it for dinner, too. We went to Red Lobster for lunch and I didn't control my portions (I had 3 biscuits!), but we went for an hour walk through the corn maze so I'm not feeling as guilty as I should. My husband, on the other hand, was a maniac with the all you can eat shrimp. And now, about 3 hours after eating a big bowl of buttery popcorn, he is sitting here in front of me eating 6 pieces of french toast smothered in syrup, along with 4 sausage patties. We're not talking turkey sausage... and I'm choosing not to eat with him. And I feel good about it.
