I recently ordered a product and as a gift with purchase, I was given a download by Dr. Kendra Pearsall. It talks about the 7 secrets of weight loss. Some of you may have already seen it, but I found it to be interesting as well as motivating so I thought that I would share some of it with those who might not have seen it.
#1: Establish the right mindset for weight loss. Your mindset will make or break your weight loss success because weight loss is a mind game. Remember that.
#2: Address your stress levels and overcome your emotional eating. Many people eat because they are stressed out, upset, anxious or depressed, and you will not be able to lose weight if you are you an emotional eater.
#3: Stop starving your body of nutrients. The third little known secret to permanent weight loss is the fact that many of you are actually malnourished and that is the reason why you cannot lose weight. There are a number of reasons for this such as low-calorie dieting, unstable blood sugars, and eating processed and artificial foods, which have caused most people to have nutrient deficiencies.
#4: Take care of your food addictions and/or allergies. This is not very well known but research has shown that up to 75% of the population has some kind of hidden food sensitivities, and these food sensitivities could be making you fat. Also, many people struggle with carbohydrate addiction, as refined grains and sugars are very addictive.
#5: Detox your body. You live in a very toxic world these days. Your air is heavily polluted, as is your water. Your food supply is full of preservatives and pesticides, and the toxicity levels in your body can make you hold on to your fat, so you need to learn the importance of regular detoxification.
#6: Adopt an exercise regime. Most people suffer from lack of exercise. Many of us have trouble getting motivated to stick to an exercise program, and even if you are exercising, chances are high that you are probably not doing the right kind of exercise program for optimal fat burning.
# 7: Address hormone deficiencies. Lastly, the number seven secret is hormone deficiencies. This is pretty big. We will go over some of the symptoms you may have if you have some kind of thyroid deficiency. For example, weight gain is very common around menopause and andropause. (Andropause is the menopause for men.) You could also suffer from adrenal exhaustion or adrenal fatigue. Most people do, and if your adrenal is not working properly, you are going to have a really tough time losing weight.
