so, it's been a few days. i've shed about 2.5lbs, along with capital letters. har dee har har.

i'm not feeling terribly enthusiastic these days, due to some digestive issues related to my beloved Smoothie King Shredder shakes. basically, the issue is that i'm a lactard. okay? so, bottom line: i'm not supposed to drink anything with milk in it or that contains the secretions of an animal who may have even looked at a cow in its life. i guess i'm sort of an ULTIMATE lactard. i dunno. anyway, because evidently i'm the biggest idiot in the universe, i didn't think to check on the type of protein they put in it. turns out, it's whey protein! so like, made from milk! whee!

anyway. as a result of this, i've been sort of on a downward spiral into digestive hell. I had basically been drinking one of these huge shakes like every day or every other day for the past two weeks. every day, i had noticed that my stomach upset had been getting a little bit worse, but by the time i realized what the source of the problem was, i was pretty much in agony every time i tried to eat anything, or even drink water. needless to say, it's been a total bummer. and it still is. i'm pretty much off dairy of any kind now, until further notice. at least before, i could eat cheese.

i guess you could say it's making dieting easier, though, since i can barely eat anything without feeling sick. maybe that's the upside? i dunno. either way, i hate it. i went through stuff like this when i was a teenager, and had it totally ironed out until about two weeks ago. hopefully it'll get itself out of my system soon and i can go back to normal.
