If you can't sleep, 3:00 a.m. is a great time to take your morning shower; much better choice than snacking. Also, I find it relaxes me so that I can go back to sleep. 🚿💤

I did go back to sleep tatauu, and slept another 3.5 hours. 😴 No sunshine here this morning Liv, chilly, windy rainy day. But hey, April showers bring May flowers. ☔ 🌷🌹🌻

I've been waking at 3 and being up until 5 and then finally falling back asleep. It's a real pain in the ass- as you know. I love when things suggest how important sleep is and how you need to get 8 hours of sleep as if that isn't my wish, too. Easier said than done! My dreams are crazy right now with this virus and stuff at work we are trying to do. Weather in Illinois is the same as yours today. No sunshine, 40 degrees and rain. :( Have a great day! I'm gonna clean and exercise.

I was going to work on getting my flower pots ready for planting, but not today. And I'm allergic to cleaning, so that's out. I may work on my taxes...or not. Maybe I'll just snuggle down and read. Days like this I miss my fireplace. 🔥📖

Very timely tip, Shirl. Thank you. I awoke at 12:30, back to sleep at 2:30. Wanted to snack but hate having to brush my teeth again, so that deterred me. I could have taken a shower because hubby was gone camping, so would not have waken him (who sleeps like a baby)! Never occurred to me. So, I read & watched one TV program. Women's hormones just seem to keep on giving! And we all know lack of sleep is bad for weight gain. Grateful my insomnia usually is only one or two nights/week. Hope you sleep well tonight.
