So my boyfriend is working out of town for a few days. On the bad side - my little man is going to miss his daddy and act out more than usual, on the good side... I got the whole bed to myself!

So when I got home yesterday - I skipped the gym and brought the little man (2) out for a good walk and to play at the park. He then wanted McDonalds... I figured, heck why not - I didn't feel like cooking for 1.5 (everything frozen and the food I was going to have and thought was good was growing it's own little farm on it YUK! - time to clean the fridge!)

So I was PLANNING on getting a Chicken wrap (the grilled variety), I got my little guy 10 nuggets and large fries (thinking leftovers will be good for him for lunch tomorrow while his grandma watches him)... then ordered myself a cheeseburger with Big mac sauce instead of ketchup.

Well his leftovers didn't last (hangs head in shame).


On the plus size... I didn't gain any weight :) And got to stretch right out in bed. I got a good peaceful sleep - probably one of the best in 2 years!

I'm looking forward to my "vacation"... a long weekend to myself in a couple of weeks. Boyfriend bringing kids camping - I get to stay home and go to Les Miserables (got a floor - 8th row center ticket for my birthday in April - boyfriend didn't want to come, so I told him to get me one GOOD ticket - he provided!)... then planning on going for a massage & Pedicure. Then maybe a trip to the museum, been so long since I've been there.

I know what you mean about PLANNING one thing and then ordering another. I did that twice over the weekend and it showed up on the scale and in my blood sugars. Gah! Your 'vacation' sounds incredible. I love my husband and children with all my heart, but man what I wouldn't give for a full weekend to myself.

I know what you mean. I love my family dearly but just need some Me time once in a while. I'm still juggling with the thought of bringing myself to my favorite dine in resturaunt during my vacation (luckily it's their healther foods I prefer to the fatty stuff, tastes better for me). Since it's only $34/person, I'm saving by going by myself :)

It's so easy to let down your guard when your with the kids, huh? I know it all too well. Did you notice that you said, "On the plus SIZE" instead of "On the plus SIDE"? I thought that was a funny slip of the tongue. Ha ha!

Tell me about it! It doesn't help either when boyfriend wants a baked lasagna with extra cheeze from the pub... Gah! He knows I love my carbs hehe. I always take some, but only a couple of spoonfuls. LOL hahaha, slip of the finger that is hehe.
