I FEEL GREAT!!!!! I just finished insanity for the day and I feel like a BOSS.Also I weighed myself today and I'm down a pound. :D

Aaah i am feeling jealous. I wont lose anything standing still for a week now. But feeling great excercise wise. Doing better each day and my body dont hurt like the first week. I am hoping something will happen soon weight wise

I'm glad to hear you're feeling less sore and are enjoying the exercises Carix! Are you taking your measurements? If you aren't, I would consider measuring your arms, bust, underbust, waist, hips and thighs to watch yourself lose inches. Unfortunately, because muscle is so much more dense than fat, you probably are gaining the same amount of weight in muscle that you are losing in fat, which means you look great, but the scale doesn't budge! Don't get too discouraged if you don't lose weight! Weight is just a number, health is what really matters :)

Carix I'm glad you like insanity too. I know it seem like I am dropping pounds all the time and it is true.What you have to realize is that I am so much more over weight and because of that the first month or so I will be shedding pounds.The last 20 pounds are going to be the hardest. Just make to eat and keep pushing through.I know Hokie Doke and I sound like broken records but measuring is a great way to see the changes in you body. The reality is the scale might to change but the tone and shape of you body will. Also I have a physical workout buddy that really helps. You might invite a friend to join you in insanity. It so much more fun working out together and they help keep you accountable. http://youtu.be/SMHrECh1IlE if you go to this link it will show you how to measure your body don't worry to much about body fat measurement. I would also do it every week not just every 30 days.

Thank you guys this means so much to me that you are helping me feel better. I think i am depressed over my weight and always will be because i really dont feel good about my body. People always think i got lots of confidence but underneath faking it am am depressing over my weight the whole time. oorrow writing exam and stressing making me eat alot and now i am even feeling more bad about myself. I look up to you guys!! My sister is doing insanity with me and she is a great partner but she is losing weight and i am not making me feel even more bad. :-(

I can relate to a poor self image. I've been overweight since like the 4th grade, and I hated the way I looked for a long time. I know what it's like to hear people tell me that I'm beautiful and just not believe them. But one day, I looked in the mirror and decided to change that. Ever since I've started doing Shakeology and Insanity, I look in the mirror and love myself more every day. It's not because I look better; it's because I'm taking care of myself. Taking care of myself makes me FEEL good, which translates to confidence and LOOKING better :) I'm flattered that you look up to us, but just know this: even if you struggle accepting your self image, try to do a little something to make yourself feel beautiful every day. Before you put on your make up, stare at your makeup-less face and think of something positive about yourself, like 'Wow, I have great skin!" or "My eyes are so pretty!" Get a tall glass of water, and while you drink it, think to yourself "This glass of water is going to help me flush toxins out of my body and make me feel better!" And I know that even if I say this, you won't believe me, but from the pictures you've posted, you ARE very beautiful! And I feel like this journey through Insanity is going to be an emotional and mental transformation in addition to a physical one :) Just keep swimming, and don't pay attention to the scale :)

I am so glad that i joined this site. Thankfull for the great people i meet on it and the support you give it really means so much. I hate the scale on this moment but i am going to try to be more positive and take my meaurements every week. i were overweight most of my life weighted 74kg and i am 1.59m not very long so were really big. Then i losted weight over time and deaember i weighted the lowest i have ever weight 55kg and looked great and feel great. But then the holidays came and i put on a whole 5 kg so its a bitter pill for me to take and this is why i want to lose the weight but thistime it is so much harder. But thank you for the advise i really appriciate it. And with your good spirit i know you will lose so much weight even though you are already beautifull. X
