Fasting blood sugar 167; weight 180.6
There is no doubt about it, Keto does bring down diabetes numbers. My morning fasting numbers have been in the 200s for several months. Now they are reasonable even though not as good as they should be. I have my A1c test Thursday. It won't be good since it measures the last 3 months, but I can show my doctor I am still producing insulin and hope I can persuade him not to increase my meds or prescribe insulin. I've had diabetes for 20 years and I will soon be 78, so I think I can control it if I stick to Keto. Keeping the resolve is the hard part, but needles scare me enough that I think I can stick to Keto for a few more years.
