GET AN ACCURATE START WEIGHT BEFORE STARTING...I made the mistake of using my loser-scale (literally speaking) at home the day I started back on Weight Watchers and joining FATSECRET this past Monday. In my head all week a little voice kept telling me I should have gotten an accurate reading...my scale doesn't give the little decimal point....which for me a couple little points here and there can make a BIG difference for my week! So today I go to Weight Watchers to weigh in and I was 167.2 instead of 166 - which was what I charted myself at on Monday. After being pretty $%^%@#$ and upset for 1/2 the day i've come to realize I can keep being @$%#$% or look at it as an opportunity to trust my instincts next time...I am wicked competitive and know that the competition is not with anyone else...except my self...looking at that chart to the right of this journaling makes me want to kick its &*$^!!!! So, to start out properly, PLEASE DON'T waste almost a whole week starting at the wrong weight!

Definitely second that... the fact that something similar happened to me too! :o( Thankfully yours were only just over a pound different... mine was 4lbs!!!

Well, thankfully the discrepancy wasn't worse. Your weight can fluctuate by 2-5 pounds a day. The best thing is to do the official weigh in at the same time each week, with the same food/drink consummed and in roughly the same clothes. Full clothing weighs 3-5 lbs as well so keep that in mind. If one pound bothers you this much I highly recommend making your weigh-in-wardrobe and other details very consistent and you'll be happy as a clam while you lose lose lose.
