I put the last of my beautiful, homemade loaf of whole wheat bread out for the squirrels. My fasting glucose hit 130 this morning and I know its the gluten. I don't have to wait for the test to come back. I can feel it.

I love my new rubbing stone. Whether I believe in the metaphysical properties of sodalite or not, a rubbing stone is a very soothing thing. I'm afraid I'll lose it if I keep it in my pocket, so I made a long braided cord of waxed linen to hang it from. That also makes it easily accessible.
