I am starting my day with a plan. If I put it down here this morning (I'm on the west coast so it's 8:00 now) then I am going to have to account for it this evening.

My goals for today:
Grocery shopping-healthy foods
Work out 1 hr
Household chores
Play w/kids

If I don't follow through with my entry tonight, someone scold me!

You forgot to put down EAT HEALTHY :) which I am sure you are going to do after the grocery shopping.

If this is your first day of phase 1, DO NOT overdo the exercise. The food and calories only support a modified exercise plan. The book says 20 mins brisk walking 5 times a week for the first two weeks. If you over do the exercise, you actually shut down your metabolism.
