Not yet Bunty, I want to be the best I can before I maintain. Just going to have to push it a wee bit harder. 👍

Giving it my best shot Bunty, family are starting to criticise now. Think I’m taking things to far. I can’t get those hurtful comments from my GF out my head!! 👍 🏴

hurtful comments? George ignore them you are fabulous and a hero. You were a hero back then and still stand that title if not more. You look fabulous ❤️❤️

Also, my goals also changed during my journey. I wanted to be 110 lbs (50 kg) but because I gained so much muscle I start to look too thin at 123 lbs (56 kg). A healthy weight that I can maintain and still enjoy myself is 127-129 lbs (~58 kg) right now... that may change with time too. Don’t be afraid to change your goals depending on how you feel about the way you look.

Moopie your comment is spot on. Things change depending on body composition. When I work out I weigh more but look more “solid” or toned. Usually when my husband fussed over me losing “too much” it’s out of worry or concern. Hopefully the same w your GF. Great work!

I went to 60kg once which is very light for me (I'm 5ft 9) and people did comment. But I was fine, just slim! It's not a natural weight for me. 63kg is perfect. But I didn't know that until I spent some time at 60kg. As we always say, it's a journey! Also, people can get jealous or insecure if you try yo better yourself. They feel 'left behind'

Thanks everyone. The reason I changed lowered my goal weight was because it was initially 100kg. I was that weight when I was an RAF Policeman but that was 22 yrs ago. I was built like a brick shithouse. Now Im 55 yrs old my body composition has changed slightly and I want to try and get down to 90kg. Not quite sure if I’ll manage that! I’ve just bought a pair of 34” waist jeans and they fit just fine. I used to be a 56” but let’s not go there!!! I’m worried about losing muscle now so I’m keeping my protein as high as possible and getting plenty exercise. Just have to wait and see. Thanks again troopers 👍🏴

We all start to lose muscle as we get older. Its called sarcopenia. So you are right to be concerned about that! Regular weights and protein are the answer so you are on the right track.
