Glad to be back to my fitness & eating goals after xMas indulgences, four of those five xMas pounds already gone. There's my 100k ride for January and Strava stats, Aug 12 - Dec 31, 2019. Recovery day is a treat of cappuccino at my favorite coffee shop, popcorn and fig bars. Day off is usually cooking day. I did get the shopping done but had to forfeit cooking yesterday because I stayed up way too late the night before engrossed in a TV series. What happens when you take the current day international socio-political climate and drop a would-be prophet in the midst of it all - Netflix's Messiah. Definitely not Netflix's typical odd, bizarre, dark or irreverent production. Turned it on at 9 in the evening and couldn't turn it off until the middle of episode 7 at 4 in the morning. So instead of cooking yesterday, I slept in and finished last episodes. Well played, Netflix. Well played, indeed. Possible thoughts for the day, weekHappiness and Comfort are not the same things The best countermeasure is to do what you know is right and trust it will work. When you're not living a life that challenges you or sparks something inside of you, you can ultimately end up with a list of things that you'll wish you'd done differently.
