Well haven't written anything for quite a few months. I had to take a break form dieting. Back in September I was still proud of myself as I maintained the weight fairly well even though I was not eating right. Then the Holidays came, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years eve. I had mentally prepared myself for going back on an eating right and diet plan for January 2nd. I had my A1C done and my appointment with my diabetes doctor January 3rd.

Really proud of my self even with eating all the wrong foods and snacks, my A1C only went up to 5.8 (had been 5.5) and I still maintained the weight I had lost. The doctor removed me form Insulin YEAH!!! and the dietitian went over my new plan of reducing the carbs and calories. She was also very pleased that with my break I didn't gain anything. My new goal for June is to shed another 50lbs. Hope I make that. Cause if I do I maybe able to get off the Victoza as well especially if my A1C comes back between 5.0 and 5.8
