Good TGIF everyone! I'm on day five of my reboot and 30 day sugar fast, and have kept to it. The weight is coming off and the soreness is easing a bit, however I have some forsaken exercises yet to perform (yikes!). Do you know what the major contributor to my reboot was? Clothing. Approximately 5 years ago I shed 50 lbs, and took some sage old advice that suggested that after I shed my desired weight I was to wait a year to determine if I able to maintain the new weight before shedding the fat clothes, and yup I tossed 100% of them. I vowed if I ever gained weight, and my clothes got tight I would wear them as self-punishment until I'd either quit altogether or take off the unwanted weight. Since I don't believe it's wise to spend money on being unhealthy and shorting one's life I choose to reboot instead. Since I've returned to FS I've witnessed some of my old FS friends who have gotten off the rails. Please consider this, make your closet the governor of your heath and body, not the scale. Once you can prove to yourself that you can keep the undesirable weight off for year, then get rid of ALL YOUR FAT CLOTHES. For me leaving any in the closet is just too tempting to kick the health reboot thing down the road until I feel hopeless. I hope this motivates someone. I pulling for you guys. Cheers and have a blessed day.
