I'm confused.
I spent nearly 2 hours at the gym today. I did the same cardio times as on Sunday, and also did 30 reps on the leg press at 30kg and 10 on the chest press at 10kg.
When I checked my calories burned at the gym on my little key doohickey, it told me about 500. When I plugged in 90 mins on "Exercise machine, moderate" on Fatsecret, it came to about 1400 cals burned. What gives?

I'd say get another opinion. There's a huge difference there. Can you search oline elsewhere? I have heard that fatsecret is way off on cals burned.

OK, I figured it out. Fatsecret is working it out based on my current weight, whereas the gym calculator is working it out based on an "average" person.
I'm going to go with the gym calculation, because I do worry that FS is estimating hugely over what I actually burn, as I know my metabolism is very slow.

Also, the gym knows exactly what exercises I did, for how long, and at what gradient/effort level, thanks to the magic key.
