Lajoh228's Journal, 18 Oct 19

Been on a strict diet and exercise routine for over 3 weeks down 21.2 pounds so far. I have tried to lose weight several times but this time seem different. I have added an extra step and it seems to be working. I get up in the morning and go to the gym, when i have finished my work out I meditate for 10 minutes with head space. I like the feeling of meditating and i have decided only to do it at the gym, I have created a mental reward for my self to go to the gym. Ones I have been to the gym in the morning it is easy to stay on track thru the rest of the day. I also put my gym bag in the car the night before so it is easy for me in the morning. It seems to me that the stuff around the food and exercise are as if not more important. For me losing weight is more mental than anything else.

I swim everyday, not just for the exercise but for the wonderful calm and peace it brings. A very important component to a healthier lifestyle.

Kenna, same i find my brain just works better after working out and meditation. I have stated getting up just a little earlier because i find the time after that and before i have to go to work so productive.
