finding weight hard to lose this week. Too many meals out and weak moments. Today I may forgo the Soy latte to recover some calories. Why is weight loss so hard and why do i love food so much?

Eating out is a huge problem for those of us trying to lose weight. There are so many hidden calories--extra heavy cream in the sauces and butter, butter, butter, for the good taste it provides. Unlike liquor, food is necessary to life, and we can't just get off of it cold turkey!

I agree and I do find that a nice glass of wine or 2 goes so well with food when I am out...... Killed by my own taste buds. Traitorous things...

So chose your "treat".... wine one meal, butter on something another... I'm not saying it works, but it sure makes me feel less deprived so that I can manage to eat out with a nice plain chicken salad... and a glass of wine!
