My weight hasnt changed in 4 days. I've been keeping up the diet and exercising every day, so there should be at least a small change. I don't known what's going on. On top of it, I've felt drained for the last couple of days. I'm thinking that I might take a day or two off from the gym, but keep the diet up and see how I feel tomorrow or the day after

Hi - thanks for adding me on to your buddy list. L carnitine may help with energy when getting up, start a low dose then work up to a decent level. Check it out on the Internet. It is quite expensive though, at $11 a bottle for 30 tablets at my WalMart and I doubt it would be cheaper anywhere else. Chromium Picolinate is supposed to also help burn extra calories like the L Carnitine, but it doesn't give that energy really. Try them both maybe. Vitamin D 2000 is a necessity in this day and age, most of us are short of it dramatically and you will feel better after a time of taking that too. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about these supplements, you're young and it's never too early to start taking them to feel better. Look up Vitamin D and you'll see how important it is and how many illnesses it may help prevent from coming on. Also, a tip - make sure you get at least maybe 1500 calories a day if you're low carbing it a bit or you'll likely stall. Right now I haven't really been doing low carb, so low calorie will work quickly if you're not doing low carb at the same time where your body might think it's in starvation mode. I know this from formerly doing Atkins for quite a while. Best wishes...

Sometimes you hit a plateau. Four days may not be enough time for your body to make further adjustments. And the further you go in your dieting program, the more difficult it will become to see results in a quick turnaround. If you have been restricting your calories quite a bit, it might do you some good to give yourself some higher calorie days. Put your body off balance for a bit and then drop the calories back down. You don't have to go crazy with food, just give yourself an extra 1000 calories for a few days. You might also give yourself a rest day or two from exercise if you've been hitting it pretty hard for a while. Keep in mind that the scale may not show results, but that doesn't mean you are not progressing. Keep pushing through it, change it up a bit, and see what happens in a week or two. I wish you the best. Nate
