Day 1 of SBD- I had 2 eggs and 2 bacon in an omlette for breakfast. So far so good. I feel full, I still feel a bit guilty for eating eggs--but if Dr. A says it works than I will give it a go.

Having dinner with the family tonight-- this is going to be a struggle!!! Don't know how I am going to manage not to eat carbs...YIKES!!!

Say a little prayer now! Update you tomorrow on how I do.

Offer to bring a dish to dinner tonight, that way you can be sure that there is something that is "ok" for you to eat and then you can probably have some veggies and other good for ya foods! I used to goto my mom-in-laws and she'd bring a spoon full of something full of sugar and not good for my diet. It is not easy, buy you have to decide that you are important enough to politely say "no", and eat for your health. :) Good luck!!

Cynthia-- it has to be turkey bacon-- yikes--- I DID NOT READ properly. Well for lunch I had a tuna salad. No pickles, no cheese-- just greenery and tuna.... thanks for the idea Bullytrouble...I think I will bring chicken and stick to that and some veggies. Still a little freaked out about- I wish I did not start the diet around all these social events- but if not now its never! Right ladies!? :(
