started off on the bench today. Should have either not tried for the new 1RM or should have gone a little lighter before lol. either way, I'm confident that, fresh, I can get the 290, maybe even the 300.
135 x 10 135 x 10 185 x 12 205 x 10 225 x 8 245 x 6 265 x 3 got a spotter to help me for the 1RM attempts. 300 I unracked and brought down just fine, but just couldn't push up alone. a few minutes later, I damn near got the 290. probably 3/4 of the way up, strict form. I can't count it yet tho, cause if it ain't solid form or if it doesn't go all the way up, it ain't a rep 😜

According to my lifting tracking app that I'm using now, today's workout estimates a 1RM of 285 (last tested max was 260 a few months ago). but going by my workout Monday, the calculated 1RM is 315.
I'm not ready to go for 315 quite yet lol. that's a jump! but when I get back in Monday, I'll find me another big guy to make sure I don't die of a crushed chest, and I'm gonna nail that 300 after a good warm up!
