Taking it easy today due to soreness in legs . Tomorrow will start on weights and will use a variety from now on even though my first choice is walking/running .
Will have to force myself to do sit ups as I truely hate them ..but NEED them .
Great advice from my new "buddies" !

HI! What exactly are you doing to make youreslf sooo sore? Too many stairs while you ar cleaning"-) I get through my "sit ups" by only doing crunches. AND , I use a video. I like the first Abs of Steel: Intense Abdominal Workout (1991). It helps me so I don't have to count or watch the clock and they are done in sets. So much easier than yucky make yourself situp stuff!

I guess i got alittle excited about starting to work out again and i over did it walking , running But im better now and will be more careful to use a variety of different workouts . I need rutine or I will stop progressing which was always my problem in the past. I guess you could say Im impatient and want instant results..lol . Thankx for the video tip..will check it out. I know I need to work up to the crazy insanity type videos which Im not ready for yet.. :)

Ahhhh walking! Ya watch those knees! Thanks for the clearification. I need to pull that video out and start doing it asap! I tried the insanity, I couldn't do it because of my knee. It was INSANELY hard LOL. I don't like it because it was mostly workout using your body as weight etc, I see it more fit for a mans workout because of the way it does upper body... If you want to do freeweights... dumbells etc, get strong, no matter what level, another GREAT AWESOME video is Kathy Smith Lift Weight to lose weight!!! If I just had those and did them all the time I would be awesome! HAHA, maybe by the summer!
