Yeah as soon as you get up is the best time to weigh yourself plus while it’s as hot as it is your body will retain water so all adds up

Always go morning first thing, and always stick to the same set of scales. 👍🏻

Stick with scales you can control - you don’t know how much usage/ calibration/ switching with new etc external scales get

Same scales, and same time of day, but only a couple of times a week. I always move my bowels first thing in the morning so weigh myself afterwards.

use the scales once a week or everyday at exactly the same time

Ditch the scales and go for measurements instead. Scale watching is flawed as it only tells you something at that moment in time. Doubtless the gym scales will be used by everyone and I would imagine the calibration would go out quite fast, compared to your home scales.

As long as your routine is consistent, (when you weigh and what on), you'll see your progress and that's all that really matters.

You need to compare it to the scales you used before with the exact same routinue. you want to reliably know the difference between values. if you normally weigh yourself at home in the morning then that would be what to use. if you want to use the gym ones you will not be able to accurately compare it to the ones at home but weigh yourself at the gym when you go again in the afternoon to compare.
I also measure body fat via the scales i use and waist measurement to see if i am losing inches/cm.

I find you always put on weight during the day
.. whatever scales you use.. although I'd plumb for your home ones.. just weigh yourself at More or less the same time.. like I weigh myself twice a week.. get up.. have half a cuppa n then a shower..dry me+ hair..then weigh.. doesn't really matter whether you get up at 6.30 am or 9.30 it's still 1st thing in the morning for you and your body!

Sounds like a silly question 🤦♂️ you weigh yourself in every morning without eating and drinking, that's how you get accurate numbers. What's the point of weighing yourself in at the gym when you consumed x amount of food and water? 🤣🤣🤣

Weigh yourself once a week. Scale watching is useless.
Think on this meat is in your system for up to 72 hours other food stuffs get fully processed from between 24 upwards. Depending on what you eat and how often, makes daily weight watching is a nonsense. So for 2 days I have meat. The first day I have a quarter pound, the second I go for an 8 ounce steak, the third I eat veg the 4th say I have some form of protein (chicken eggs etc) You can quite clearly see that weight can and does fluctuate quite a lot. If you really must weigh yourself, then don't go by instantaneous weight, but do 7 days then divide by 7 to average it out.
