Finally got up the nerve to try the Beyond Meat burger I bought earlier this week...


FREAKIN’ DELICIOUS! 20g of plant-based protein, and soy-free! I’m going to have to keep an eye out for their other products :)

Honestly, it was super super close to beef but it did have a bit of some extra earthiness to it...I think it uses mushrooms. I did add a lot of seasoning because I was afraid it would be bland so I’ll try it plain next time. I’ve never had tofu (I know, crazy) so I don’t know if they are similar.
