Busy day ahead! After work, I have to pick up some groceries for my sister (who's house/dog/cat sitting over the weekend), trade in my CrackBerry for a new phone, go grocery shopping with my MIL and then home to pack.

We're taking the kids on a camping trip this weekend. Not tents and backpacks, mind you but a very nice RV with flat screen TVs, running shower and AC! We are planning on doing LOTS of physical activities including hiking, fishing and swimming. There's also a miniature golf course so that will be fun too. It will be nice to get the kids out of the house for a little while!

It's been a stressful couple of months for us so I'm hoping this trip is just what the doctor ordered~

Have an amazing trip, Jen. Make sure you find at least a few moments to relax between all of the activities. Hope you have great weather, too.

I want my husband to get a camper.. he keeps saying no.. I just want a pop up nothing fancy just a 16 foot box.. but he wants me to strap 85 lbs of gear to my (bad) back and trek up some god forsaken mountain.. I keep telling him "you know there are places we can drive to and just empty the car on a flat surface and call it a day" and he says "yes... they are called hotels" I love him anyway.. have fun!

Thanks guys! CeeBee - you always make me laugh! If my MIL didn't have the RV we would definitely get a pop up. We did the whole "roughing it" thing for a couple of years after we were married until one day I just couldn't take it anymore. I said "I love you but I am never sleeping on the ground again...my idea of roughing it is a Holiday Inn Express without a hairdryer!" So - that was the end of that!

Us to have eventually graduated to the 'big' camper. Started w/tents, pop-up, slided in camper on truck (I highly DO NOT recommend this when you have a family of 4 plus dogs)now to a toy hauler where we store the atvs inside and have full kitchen and bathroom. People give us 'crap' about using the bathroom, (thats not camping, blah, blah, blah) but excuse me, I did not pay X amount of dollars so I can go poop in the woods. I'll use our bathroom thank you! Enjoy your trip Jenju!
