June 1 - new day, new diet. At the beginning of April I was hospitalized for 5 days with an acute inflammation of diverticulitis, which I didn't even know that I had. My doctor told me that my diet has to drastically - not in relation to losing weight, but in relation to making my digestive system work correctly. I have now been told to be on a high-fiber diet, which goes against everything I have convinced myself is the healthy way to eat. I'm working very hard to go by the doctor's orders, because I don't EVER want to be in that kind of pain again.
