Frosty morning; my sunflower seeds brought a larger assortment of birds this morning to visit Beau and I. I noticed bushtits and some unknowns as well as the usual chickadees, dark-eyed junkos, spotted towhees, etc. Oh, I see a squirrel working his way over from a more distant tree; those guys just hoover up the seeds, so eat up, little birds! Squirrel's being cautious because red-tailed hawk was hunting from another nearby tree this morning.
Luckily Zumba is at 11 this morning, though I'll still have to scrape a lot of ice off my car before I go, since it's still 26 degrees outside. I am tempted to stay home, drink tea, and watch nature in all its winter glory through the window. I'm really sore from the new class I took yesterday after my regular Zumba, but I know that going to Zumba will help work out the stiffness, get my blood & oxygen going to all the right places.
