Look if that is what it takes. It is what it takes. Do what you need to do to make it happen. Some people need a location and the space to exercise. Space is not always sufficient. I do admit, sometimes it's too cold in winter.. Then I do some warmup work at home, couple sets of pushups, ride the old indoor cycle, Couple sets on the 10kg dumb bells and then onto a set or two of the Jump rope etc. (whatever you have available and what is on offer).
