This past week has been something awful with a head cold that hit me like a Mack truck. However, the cold is gone and this morning I woke up with a sunnier disposition. Something told me to check the scale this morning so I did. Officially, I am in the 220s…barely but I will take it!! =) I found a box of clothes the other day, that I set aside cause it took all I had just to get it out of the closet. Anywho, I rummaged through it abit and found a pair of jeans, denim shorts and a pair of capris…all 18s. I tried each on…the shorts fit, the capris were too big and the jeans…I could fasten them up but breathing is priority. 2 err, 1 out of 3 isn’t bad in this case! I live in Florida and today will be shorts weather. (SMH, it’s December) I love the little triumphs. Well, off the grocery store…Take care.

Hate those colds, glad your feeling better. Isn't it great to go shopping through your own closest? I've been overweight so long that some of the clothes that I find fit now are 10 to 20 years old, good thing I'm not a fashionista.

So sorry, still trying to figure this site out...wish there was an easier way to keep track of my and friends comments, forums, others journal entries etc. other than remembering I posted something and having to search for it. Have I missed something? Anywho, thank you. Love shopping my closet! =) I go back mostly 10 years with clothes, I have a few 15ish yrs old jeans in 14s and 16s. I have yo-yoed enough I've been able to clean some out and add to. No fashionista here either, comfy is my middle name!

Great fitting into your smaller sizes isn't it? Start saving your $$ because you will be down to 16's before you know it. Glad you are over your cold too! Merry Christmas!

TY NeptuneBch, it does feel good to be in a smaller size! I am good to got til I get down to 14 then I need a whole new wardrobe. Can't wait. Thank for the tip.
