Hey Angellette! I read your journal!!! :-) I do understand how you feel...we all struggle. And I've tried just about every "diet" site out there. But this one is really different. The community here is really supportive and helps you get over it when you stumble (and we ALL stumble). So turn that frown upside down (sorry, being silly this morning) and let's make some progress for summertime!

my biggest problem is....my boyfriend can eat as much as he wants, and he stays stick thin, and even though he supports my weight loss efforts, he doesnt understand why i cant go eat chinese everyday, or why i cant always go to McDonalds and burger king. its so frustrating! just once, i'd like to be the skinny one and have him understand what it's like to not have eating freedom.

Oh Girl - you cant get away with all that negative self-talk on here! :-) But we all understand - we have all felt that same way about ourselves. And if you'll give this website a try, you'll find that all the people on here are incredible!! We will be here for you and lift you up when you're down. So, cheer up! You are on the right track!

Angellette, I completely understand about the boyfriend. My fiance is paper thin and could and has eaten a triple whopper while I eat the side salad..although support is 100% on his end. Try explaining to him the nutrtional values of food, it may not do anything but once my man knew how many calories, points and fat was in stuff he used to join and say oh yeah, you can eat that...i even let him calc stuff on the point calc. It may sound silly, but it worked for him. I wish you the best of luck and hang in there!!!
