Well, now I don't know what to do about my food today. I had what I think is a major gallbladder attack and spent about 5 hours heaving up just about everything I ate in the last day and a half. I slept for a couple of hours after that. I'm better now, but all I'm risking is tea with stevia. Maybe a little beef broth in a bit.

My theory, Vinni.....if it doesn't stay down, it doesn't count. You may well have a touch of the bug that is going around! Take care of yourself, dear lady!

Thanks! I hope it is a bug. If it is, I've had it about 5 times in the last year. lol

Perhaps it's time to see the doctor?

Vinni, what does your doctor say? When I have gall bladder attacks, I don't get sick to my stomach, I have excrutiating pain!

I had both symptoms, thought it was a heart attack. Any fats will trigger an attack.

I get the pain with the attack, in conjunction with the heaving. I've the attack where I just get excruciating pain and nothing else, but that was years ago. I do have a chronic, low level of pain in the area gallbladder attacks generally 'refer' to. I'm seeing my doc on Monday to check up on my blood pressure. I'll see what she says, though I hate to admit any symptom she could point to and say it's time to get off of atkins.

A lot of people start having problems with their gall bladders when they lose weight. Unfortunately, yes the fats do trigger the attacks but once it is taken out you should be able to get back on the diet.
