I am going to be POSITIVE. I am going to put my goals in writing today. Everytime I have that little voice saying, "I can't," or "It won't happen," I'm going to look at these goals and tell the little voice to go away. I have to stop beating up on myself.

To Be Accomplished By the End of August:

1. My weight should be in the 160's. Remember, 40 pound is my goal.

2. Buy new clothes. I'm tired of wearing the baggy pants and shirts.

3. Lower my blood sugar, body fat, bmi, and triglyceride levels. My cholesterol was 164, but my bad cholesterol was a bit high.

4. Eat less meat. I don't think I can be a vegetarian, but I need to cut down on meats; I want to replace the meats with more fruits and vegetables.

5. Have more energy! I swear I'm going to start taking my iron supplements and my Max-3's. I don't want to fall asleep in meetings anymore LOL

I think those are da*n good goals. Go away, little voice. Yes, I can. YES, I CAN.

I am so proud of you! I kinda had these same goals at the beginning of last year. I don't know what size you will be at the beginning of the year but maybe I can share some of my clothes with you that i have shrunk out of. It is hard for me to gage your size because you always wore baggy clothes. I did the same thing for many years. I have aso lowered by fat and bmi, blood sugar and cholesterol. When I go to the doctor in july i am going to talk to him about lowering my dose on meds. I am going to try your crustless spinach. Do you eat it for breakfast? I am searching for something I can pre cook and take to school when it starts. Lastly, do you watch BONES? there is a character who has a rubberband on his wrist and he pops himself when he is angry as part of anger management program. I got a pink pig (silly bands) and wear it on my wrist. I pop myself when i start with negative thoughts or food thoughts. it has helped me a lot. hope you won't grade me on my writing skills or spelling errors. LOL Keep me posted. I don't really understand this befriending thing. so befriend me and i will accept if you like. the duty nazi. lol

Hi, Ms. McHenry! Thank you for the encouragement. I do need to wear a rubber band, or pinch myself when I'm being mean to myself LOL I am salivating over the crustless spinach recipe, but I haven't tried to make it yet. I've been stuck on rotisserie chicken and Kashi Lean cereals and oh, TOFU. It's a bit boring, but I think changing my diet has really done a lot to lower my cholesterol. People tell me I'm shrinking. I can squeeeeeeze into size 16's right now, but I haven't changed my wardrobe because I want to lose as much as I can, and then buy new clothes. I should have put NO MORE BAGGY CLOTHES as goal number one LOL I requested that you be my buddy -- I thought you already were -- sorry! How are those fitness classes, by the way?
