Grew up with the clean plate club. Lately I’ve been serving myself based on calories and so I’ve still been finishing everything on my plate. Well tonight I left behind part of a meal that I used to eat 2+ servings of. I’m even a little overfull but proud that I stopped when I did. Paying attention to my body has been a new experience but it’s great to know that I’m doing what I need instead of all the mindless eating.

It's a nice feeling knowing your body well enough to know when it needs food and when it's full. Congrats for breaking free from the cult of the clean plate!!

28 pounds in three months!!! WOWZERS, girl! You're on fire! If you still want to eat everything on your plate - just buy smaller plates. A small plate FILLED with food looks much more appetizing that a big plate with lots of empty space on it!
