Ingria's Journal, 13 Nov 12

Came back home early as I am stll not feeling well. Planned to park on the sofa and get some rest, but decided to roast kabocha and kale. I bought them on Sunday but did not have time to cook. Thought it would take me half an hour but spent 2.5 hours in the kitchen cooking and cleaning. Love kabocha, but I usually have my husband cut it for me. This time he was still at work. By the time I was able to cut the damn pumpkin into wedges I realized why he does not have any weight issues. And that was after I boiled it for 5 min. Tearing and washing kale was not that difficult but time consuming. Kabocha turned delicious, but I was so tired, I did not even feel hungry. Did not like kale that much, OK but not worth the effort. I still have another bunch and will cook my favourite portuguese kale and lentil soup tomorrow. Also decided to start using MO and see if makes any difference with my joints.
