I have to keep reminding myself that slow and steady is the right way to lose this weight. A pound here and a pound there is perfect. I remodeled two bathrooms last weekend and laid tile in both. I picked up a 50 pound bag of thinset and it really made me think about how big I used to be. I walked around the garage for a minute or two while holding this bag near my waist. I couldn't believe that I used to climb stairs and tie my shoes with this extra weight. It was a scary thought.
