Happy Memorial Day! I "slept in" today, which technically means I woke up at 6 a.m. (Usually I wake up at 4:30 a.m.) I've showered, and I'm dressed to go to the gym, but I need to walk Gatsby first.

I've been considering getting cornrow braids for the month of June, at least. It sure would keep my hair out of my face! Plus, it would make me feel like I'm officially "working out," but I'm getting mixed reactions from people already. My friends are all for it and can't wait to see it. My sister, on the other hand, is warning me that it will "stink." Why does she have to be such a party pooper?

You know what? I might just get the cornrows to spite her -- just like when she and my mother swore I shouldn't get a tattoo. What did I do? I promptly went out and got one and oops! showed it to them by accident LOL
