ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
have to say if bad happens in 3's im done for the weekend...yesterday hubby was bushhogging and the tractor broke down, so on his way back in from town with the part rigged to work and a new one on order, his truck breaks down,...wont start...and then this morning my dogs were out playing and i hear one of them cry out in pain (since we have coyotes) this is not something you ignore...so i look out and penny is spread eagle under hubbys truck, this dog does not ever stay still, and she was not moving...i go out and she has knocked herself out on the trailer hitch...had to rush her to the vet to get 4 stitches and she still would not stand up without crying, so we xrayed her, nothing broken, so we gave her a muscle relaxer and left her there...my other dog who has never been away from penny is clinging to us and not a happy camper...we have to call back at 2 and see if we can go get her...
what a day...
food...last night we grilled pork chops with pesto as a brushed on marinade...topped with a sundried tomato herb mixture and a sause...baked potato on the grill and a hugh salad with baby greens, radico, tomatos, celery, cucumbers, salad toppers and parm cheese...
today should be a pot roast - depending on penny...

EDITED: we have penny back home...she still cannot stand up or eat...she is not very responsive at all...the next couple of days will be touch and go...we are giving her water with an eye dropper...she crys if we walk away and leave her alone...so for now i will be glued to her bed...
and dinner ended up being a skillet lazana (sp?)...used my homemade sause, added 1/2 ground beef 1/2 ground pork, mushrooms, olives, banana peppers, onion, greenpepper, a little italian seasonings and the noodles were these new ones (got them at krogers) they are called wacky noodles and made with mostly vegatable stuffs...not bad...they need to cook alittle longer than regular pasta...i will buy them again
