Ok....so last Friday was a a birthday dinner celebration for a friend of mine. She happened to choose my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I planned my day so that I wouldn't be starved for dinner but wouldn't have "used" all my calories beforehand either. I decided to enjoy myself but not to gorge myself. I felt like I did a good job eventhough I ate some queso and chips with salsa. When I got my meal I automatically took half of it and placed it into a to go container to bring home to my hubby. I also abstained from drinking more than a small mixed drink at the after party as well and tried to log the foods to the best of my ability.
I did see an increase in my weight (1.2lbs) the next day. I'm thinking it was probably due to a decrease in movement as well as an increase in the sodium and fat levels in the food I ate the previous week.
