mav61388's Journal, 29 Mar 08

so its that time of the month.. i cant stop eating junk food, i feel terrible and i feel like all this exercising is getting me nowhere. I exercised 4 times this week, but ate a bunch of junk for the past two days.. I'm in the same position I always get in and quit because I feel as though I'm doing all this for nothing. I'm going to start writing everything i eat down in a book, Ive just been keeping track of the points in my head, maybe this will help. Not enthused about the weigh in on Monday, ugh.

Well, look at it this way, if you hadn't been exercising, you could gain a higher number of pounds. With exercise, you might stay the same or even lose (you never know). Whatever you do, don't quit! You'll just end up back where you started. Tell yourself you can do it and then do it. Good luck!

Have you tried using the diet journal here? I've found that really useful at helping me stay on track and it's now got WW points too which you can see properly if you edit your preferences on the food diary page. I agree with Suzi though that if you're doing your exercise then you're probably not doing so bad as you think you are. Above all though DON'T QUIT!! Stick with it, as it's only a couple of days when that horrible little monster tries come and put pay to all the great effort that we're putting in. Perhaps try find some nice healthy treats that you can have when you feel like going on a munchie session. My latest vice is honeydew melon and strawberries together - low points, you don't need any sugar and tastes yummy. You keep going there girl though and remember you CAN do this! ;o)
