I spent two hours at the gym today: 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, 15 minutes on the stair-stepper, 30 minutes doing various weights and 40 sit-ups / six inches, and then finally, the super-crowded sauna, where I sat for 20 minutes. My favorite part is sitting in the sauna, where I can listen to my shuffle ipod; when I step out, the cool air feels oh-so-good! LOL

My stomach is going down a bit. I've been trying to practice the six inches where you lay on a mat and place a ten-pound weight on your stomach. You place your hands underneath your tailbone for support, and then you liiiiiiifffftttt your legs about six (or more) inches off the floor. When it's unbearable, I try to do scissors, where you criss-cross your ankles. I just close my eyes and try to imagine a smaller me. That always makes it worth the while.

I e-mailed Angel and asked if I could be with the walking group next time we do indian runs. Why did I bother to ask? She said, "No, NOT EVER. YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BE WITH THE WALKING GROUP." Just like that. So that's what Erica meant when she chuckled yesterday after I finished the indian run. She said, "You do know you're at the point of no return, right?" To which I replied, "Not if I play dead." Not that playing dead would deter Angel from her mission. Honestly, if I tried to play dead, I think Angel would kick me just to teach me a lesson. LOL

But, for all the hard work she expects from me, she always says how proud I make her, over and over. Aw, shucks.
