My metabolic rate must be increasing. That's the only thing I can think of to explain why what I'm eating doesn't keep me "full" as long. I used to be able to go to work out after eating a bowl of Kashi cereal. Not so now. I noticed this when I ate a bowl of cereal and a bowl and a half of strawberries (with Splenda) on Friday, then went to the gym two hours later... where I CRASHED AND BURNED.

I was about done doing my 30 minutes on the elliptical when I thought, Gosh, I'm hungry. I think by that time, it was already too late because all of the sudden, I started to shake. I must have turned pale because the lady next to me kept looking at my face, as if she wanted to ask if I was OK. I had to drive to Taco Bell and get a soft fresco taco, and I just about gave up on the workout.

So that was my hypoglycemic moment. I am now stashing granola bars in my backpack and purse. Good thing, too. I ate breakfast today and went to the school track, where I jogged and walked for about an hour. Then I went to the gym, and I was HUNGRY again. Luckily, I had my oats and honey bars. I ate a bar and a half and continued working out, and an hour and a half later, I was hungry again. Had 2 ounces of wheat grass juice, an orange wedge, and one-fourth of a crunchy peanut butter Cliff bar.

Help me. I've become this bottomless pit. Pat asked me to bring home some food from Taco Bell, and I ate a Mexican pizza and a supreme taco all by myself. I even had 3 cinnamon twists. I'm a bad, bad girl.
