Well okay, here I am. I recently got down from about 200 (size 18w) pounds to 171.6 pounds. Looking for calorie resources that gave quantifiable information (per ounce), I ended up here.
The calculator on this site says I should be eating 1950 calories a day to lose a pound a week. I wouldn't lose anything if I ate that much. I have been losing 1-2 pounds a week by eating about 700-750 calories a day. It has been many years since I ate breakfast, and I'm okay with that. I am able to eat meat, vegetables, and fruit, which keeps me satisfied enough.
