So far on this keto journey I’ve lost 7lbs. However this was accomplished in the first 2 weeks. My weight loss has stalled these last 2 weeks. I’ll fluctuate in decimal point difference at 137lbs but nothing substantial. Any helpful advice is appreciated

you have what seems like a lot of cheese, this can stall many on their journey. You are pushing the carbs up a bit too. generally we try to keep them down to 20 total at first and then adjust to see your tolerance level to promote weight loss. Avocado is great, so much carb's in dessert type things not so much. whole eggs have much more value than eggs whites. you need the healthy fats. more veggies less carb type products if you tolerate veggies well. hat kombucha drink is costly in carbs I don't know what is in it to say if it is a problem.

and as time goes on you may find adjusting your macro's will also help, no one size fits everyone. you sometimes are pushing the protein, if you exercise a lot you can have 25% to 30% but if you don't 20% can be a better number. I do better with more protein, but many do better with limiting it to the 20% number.

I have an essential need to eat my calories versus drinking them. Cheese is high in fat and satisfying. I dislike coffee so bullet coffee is out of the question. Also 🚫 no to mct oil, it’s nutritional properties are equivalent to coconut oil. I’ll put 1/2 tbsp. of coconut oil in my tea 🍵 I don’t add more because that’s calories I could be eating instead. I drink kombucha for its probiotic. I don’t 💩 regularly. As far as carbs go, I’m actually eating less carbs this week than my first week of doing keto. I’m a averaging about 20-30 net carbs now I do go hard in my workouts, hence why I eat so much protein. It varies from HIIT to weight training. 5-6x a week

I just gave you basics to where some things can trip you up. I don't drink my calories either. I eat fatty meats to get my fats. eat the skin on the chicken. as I said I eat proteins higher too. workouts need a decent amount. dairy can stall some folks, so that is only something you can figure out. look back at your food log when you were losing so fast and see what is different.

Mainly what baskington said. Drop the exo ketones and urine strips. Cool colors but they are usually very different from actual blood ketones. And if you drink enough water those strips shouldn't register that high. Exo ketones are a waste of money and usually have carbs. Unfortunately those first 2 weeks are prob 75% water weight. It takes time and lots of patience.

I’m very happy to read about your mental health improvement along with the physical as well Abdelahlamrani! As far as the weight loss goes I don’t mind being patient if only it were more consistent instead of the fluctuations- makes you feels like it’s out of your control

Hi, that konbucha is sugar water. I looked at your carb count. If you are doing keto your carbs are way too high. Count 20 total carbs. You add a lot of stuff that has sugar that ads up, keep up the good work. What is your goal? Are you still wanting to lose? Just keep it simple.

Jenjabba My initial goal is 137 lbs but since my body weight keeps dancing around the number I can continue forward with my next goal. My biggest hope to achieve with keto is for body fat to get down to 20%
