tifany's Journal, 17 May 10

I lost another 1.6 ponds since yesterday, at 2707 calories, no exercise and Tom here full force today. I don't get it, but I'm happy. I was 249 I think before I started Atkins, so any weight I loose untill I get back to that point...it's like I can't really celebrate because I shouldn;t have put it on in the first place. I really ate a ton of calories before so that's all I can think of, that my body is just doing it's thing with a lot less calories.

Wow, impressive :) Maybe TOM coming made you lose water? Usually I get bloated before TOM and when it comes, I lose water. Anyway, just dont give up :)

I usually don't loose untill after he's gone. This is definately a "small victory" for me.

TOM meaning that time of the month? LOL I'm sheltered, but leave it to me to ask the questions. . . I agree with you if that's what it means. That is an awesome thing to be happy about! You know something though, I read an article in fitness magazine that women who cooled down (walked instead of stopping all activity or sitting) after a run or hard work out, actually enjoyed going back to the gym more. In fact, according to the stats, they were 65% more likely to go more days during the week. Now with that said, cooling down, and nutrition are two different things, but the article spoke to me on all levels. Celebrate by doing something enjoyable (not eating something good). Like playing a game with your kiddo, or a spa time in the bathtub. Little rewards will definitely help now and in the future. :) Keep up the good work!
